Introduction

One of NumFOCUS’ goals is to increase awareness and excitement around opportunities for underrepresented groups in scientific computing. For NumFOCUS events, we offer scholarship opportunities to those from underrepresented groups who may otherwise be unable to attend the conference. Scholarships may or may not include funding for travel and lodging, depending on the conference budget.  

Requesting support to establish a scholarship program at your project event

1. Submit a ticket or email the NumFOCUS events team at [email protected]. An events manager can answer questions and guide you through the process.
